SISTERS OF ST. BENEDICT OF FERDINAND, INDIANA

.

We are a vibrant, Spirit-filled community with 170 members who serve in
a variety of ministries, including education, parish ministry, social
services, health care, spirituality programming, and mission work. We
continue to welcome new members. In the past five years, six women have
made their first profession and seven their perpetual profession. We
invite women, ages 18–40, who seek God and want to live a balanced life
of prayer and ministry. To learn more, email, call, or attend our Come & See events.

Mission Statement: We, the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand,
Indiana, are monastic women seeking God through the Benedictine
tradition of community life, prayer, hospitality, and service to others.
By our life and work, we commit ourselves to be a presence of peace as
we join our sisters and brothers in the common search for God.

Sister Mary Victor (back, second from left) and Sister Mary Judith
(front left, green shirt) are two of several of our sisters who minister
with the local Hispanic and immigrant people.

Sisters Michelle Catherine, Jeana, Doris and Jill visit on the monastery
grounds. You can see the monastery church in the background.
