2019 Gereke Grant Applications
The 2019 Gereke Grant application deadline is swiftly approaching! This grant is named for Dorothy Gereke, one of the co-founders of the TEC Movement, who was instrumental in supporting the spiritual and practical needs of the first TEC center. The Gereke Grant honors her memory by providing for similar needs for today’s TEC communities.
Applications are due back to the TEC Conference by September 30, 2019. All TEC communities were sent the application, but digital copies can be found on the TEC Conference website under the Gereke Grant tab. Affiliated TEC communities may fill out an application for a $1,000 grant to help fund a worthy project, such as leadership formation, Conference-sponsored workshops, local TEC promotions or purchases, or any way that the money may best serve the community.
Applications are reviewed by a committee that does not consist of Conference employees or members of applicant TEC communities. The Conference will award at least on $1,000 grant, and a winner or winners will be announced in November.
