The total cost for attending this workshop is only $40! No other fees will be due upon arrival. To top it off, the TEC Conference is offering an amazing travel voucher for each participant, whether you fly, drive, or carpool!

Participants will deepen their knowledge of TEC and gain insight into how to make TEC successful, as well as develop a stronger understanding of TEC's place within the larger Church. Travel Vouchers
Upon the completion of the workshop, the TEC Conference will provide a travel voucher to participants:
- The TEC Conference will give $50 to drivers coming from 200 miles or less
- The TEC Conference will give $100 to drivers coming from 400 miles or less
- The TEC Conference will give $150 to drivers coming from 550 miles or less
- The TEC Conference will give $200 to drivers coming from 700 miles or less
- The TEC Conference will give $250 to drivers coming from more than 700 miles
- The TEC Conference will stipend passengers at $40 each (thanks for carpooling!)
- The TEC Conference will reimburse participates traveling by plane the cost of their ticket up to $300*
*Only available to travelers outside a 6 hour driving radius
Lodging & Travel
Participants will be housed in the Founders’ Woods Apartments, a short walk from our workshop space.
Apartments come in several different configurations and are furnished with a full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, full size bed, desk and in-unit washer and dryer.
With advanced notice of arrival times, a team member will make every effort to collect travelers from either Midway or O’Hare airports. O’Hare is 30 minutes from campus and Midway is 40 minutes from campus. Please inform the office (office@tecconference.org) of your travel arrangements as soon as you make them.
Meet the Team
Billy O’Regan – Billy is the Executive Director of the TEC Conference (2012-present) and has a working knowledge of the leadership models of most active TEC communities around the world. He also runs a large overnight summer camp for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He has previously worked as an attorney and High School Campus Minister.
Deacon Kevin Fuller – Dcn. Fuller is the head of Campus Ministry at Marian High School in Omaha. He is completing a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. He has served as a Diocesan Youth Ministry Director and the Associate Director of the TEC Conference (2014-2021).
Dennis Kurtz – Dennis is the Associate Director of the TEC Conference. He has served as a Diocesan Youth Ministry Director and in various roles at St. Mary’s Press, a Catholic publishing company in Winona, Minnesota. He has been involved in multiple TEC communities.
Janet Drey – Janet is the Managing Director of the Consortium for Contemplative Leadership in Des Moines. She was the Executive Director of the TEC Conference from 1996-2005.
Claire Gallagher – Claire teaches theology at St. Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans. She has also served as a parish Youth Minister, High School Campus Minster, and the leader of her local TEC Community. In 2021, she completed her formation process and took vows as a Consecrated Virgin.
