The Leadership Council gathers for meetings in person twice a year, during the winter and summer. This year’s summer meeting took place in Baton Rouge, LA, from July 12-13, 2018. The Council’s agenda covered:
• Executive Director report
• Discussion on the TEC Manual prayer services
• Group formation experience led by Brigitte Burke
• Evaluation on the Leadership Council onboarding process
• Ministry team project updates
• Review of final designs for new TEC Conference website
After the first full day of meeting, the Council headed out for an evening of dinner and bowling fun—but got right back to work the next day!
Traditionally, the summer meeting takes place right before the start of Encounter. Following the meeting, the Council met with the local Encounter planning team for a group prayer. The Young Adult Council also met in person and by video conference after the Leadership Council meeting concluded.
