Every year, the TEC Conference’s Leadership Council meets twice in person (in summer and winter) and twice by video conference (in spring and fall). This year’s in-person summer meeting was held in Austin, TX, from July 11-12, 2024. Topics from this meeting’s agenda included:
- Updates from ad hoc teams regarding progress on the strategic planning goals initiated at last year’s summer meeting
- Ministry Team reports
- Executive Director report and office updates
- Spiritual formation session centered on the Eucharistic Revival
- Manual document study and discussion on “What Makes TEC Distinctive”
Following the meeting, Council members began preparing for the start of Encounter 2024, with many serving in volunteer roles to greet and assist guests as they arrived for the event. The next Leadership Council meeting will take place virtually in the fall, followed by their in-person winter meeting.
