Each year, the TEC Conference's Leadership Council meets twice in person and twice via video conference. The in-person meetings take place in the winter and summer. This year's winter meeting was held in Norwood, OH, from January 20-21, 2023. The agenda included:
- Executive Director report and annual goals
- TEC center community reports
- Spiritual formation inviting the Holy Spirit into group discussions
- Introduction to a strategic visioning process for TEC
- Review and affirmation of 2023-2024 budget
Bishop John C. Iffert, Episcopal Moderator of the TEC Conference, celebrated a private mass with the Council in the Diocese of Covington, KY, and joined them on a tour of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Following the tour, Bishop Iffert and the Council enjoyed a wonderful meal and plenty of quality time together at a local restaurant.
We thank Vice Chair and Kansas State Co-Rep Steven Polley for his many years of service as his term on the Council ends in March. New members of the Executive Team are currently in discernment for the upcoming 2023-2024 Council, whose terms will officially start in April.
The Council's next in-person meeting will take place in July in DeWitt, MI, right before the start of Encounter 2023. Thank you to all the Leadership Council members for their dedication to TEC and the gifts of their talents and time!
